Our History

It all started on an ordinary Friday in Mesa, Arizona.
Clau had been teaching dance for some time when her husband told her something simple but powerful: "If you love it so much, I'll support you." That same weekend, they bought speakers, found a venue — and by Monday, she was on stage teaching a class. Without a perfect plan. Without a huge budget. Just with passion, music, and the desire to move her body.

That's how Cardio Dance was born in January 2018.

Paty arrived shortly after, visiting. As soon as she heard the music, her feet started dancing on their own. Clau invited her to join her on stage — and from that moment on, she never left. Two friends from Sinaloa and the State of Mexico, united by dance, who over time became family.

When the pandemic hit, Clau decided to take the classes from YouTube to live streams — for those who couldn't go out.

What surprised them most was discovering that on the other side of the screen were women from all over the world — with different lives, different stories — but with something in common: the desire to move, feel good, and belong to something.

Today Cardio Dance is a community of millions — built without magic formulas, without pretending to be something they're not, and with a team that gives their all every day. Because this was never just exercise. It was always a way to belong.
